Winger races into postponed Alabama Gang 100 at Talladega Short Track with World of Outlaws
Joining the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series for the weekend, Ashton Winger joined a 48-car field at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) for the Alabama Gang 100 on Friday afternoon.
Starting 11th in his preliminary feature, Ashton finished inside the Top-10 in ninth.
Winger earned his spot in the $35,000-to-win feature after winning his Last Chance Showdown. Unfortunately, just prior to taking the green flag, a rain shower engulfed the racetrack. The event was postponed to September 15th.
