Winger rallies to Crate victory at East Bay Raceway Park
Ashton Winger returned to the driver’s seat of the Mathew Motorsports No. 12 Late Model on Saturday afternoon at East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Fla.) for the 604 Late Model special.
With a mechanical issue in his heat while leading pinning him on the eighth row for the feature, Winger charged through the field to pick up his ninth win of the 2022 campaign. He earned $2,500 ahead of Doug Horton, Shan Smith, Steve Mathis Jr., and Scotty Williams.
