Winger returns to Bristol for two-day finale

Ashton Winger returned to Bristol Motor Speedway (Bristol, Tenn.) on Friday afternoon for the final two rounds of the of the XR Super Series-sanctioned Bristol Dirt Nationals. After missing a transfer spot in his heat race and B-Main, Winger was granted a provisional into the A-Main. With $50,000 on the line, Ashton gained four spots in the 50-lapper to finish 19th.

The following night, Ashton’s sixth-place finish in his heat race relegated him into the B-Main for another shot at the A-Main. Sending the Top 6 into the $50,000-to-win finale, Winger fell short of a transfer position.
