May 31, 2021 - Pair of Top-5 finishes over Memorial Day weekend
1Lifting the lid on his Memorial Day weekend slate, Ashton Winger invaded Thunderhill Raceway (Summertown, Tenn.) on Saturday afternoon for the Southern All Star Series sanctioned program. With time trial results aligning him eighth on the starting grid for the $4,000-to-win A-Main, Winger gained three spots in the 40-lapper to register a fifth-place finish. He trailed Matt Cooper, Payton Freeman, Dane Dacus, and Sam Seawright to the checkers.

On Monday afternoon at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.) for the ninth annual Scott Sexton Memorial, Ashton secured his spot into the $10,052-to-win Spring Nationals finale with a 10-lap heat race victory. May 22, 2021 - Winger grabs first win of 2021 in Roscoe Smith Classic at Senoia
Ashton Winger finally shook the monkey off his back on Saturday night. The driver of the E-Z-GO No. 12 Dekalb / Johnny Doan Plumbing/ Keyser Manufacturing/ Rocket Chassis/ Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model claimed the $4,044 top prize in Saturday night’s Roscoe Smith Classic at Senoia Raceway.

Winger’s first win of the season came in Southern All Star Series-sanctioned action in the 11th edition of the event.

“We’ve raced like 30 times this year and it’s hard not to get emotional,” Winger said in Victory Lane. “I’ve had the time of my life the past two years and it’s really, really been tough this year on us. We just haven't had a lot go our way … But this feels so awesome. I want to thank my family, my team, and all of my sponsors for standing behind me and making this possible."

1On Saturday evening Ashton Winger invaded Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.), piloting his Johnny Doan Plumbing No. 12 Late Model in the Southern All Star Series-sanctioned Roscoe Smith Classic.

After leading the opening three circuits of the feature, Winger slid back to fifth but began closing on race-leader Michael Page as he dealt with lapped-traffic. Charging past Page on lap 27, Ashton ran away to register his first win of the season, which over Joseph Joiner, Austin Horton, Jay Scott, and Mike Collins. Winger crossed the finish line with a five-second margin to claim the $4,044 top prize.

May 8, 2021 - Ashton Winger visits Batesville for Comp Cams doubleheader
1Friday night saw Ashton Winger return with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) at Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Ark.) for the Joe Garrison Memorial. Drawing 29 Late Models, Ashton laid down the fastest time in his group before picking up an eight-lap heat race victory. After setting the pace out front for the first 14 circuits, Winger suffered a flat tire on lap 14 that dropped him to the tail. He salvaged a 17th-place outing in the 30-lap affair.

For the Bad Boy 98 on Saturday, Winger recorded a third-place finish in his heat, which positioned him ninth on the starting grid for the $12,000-to-win main event. May 1, 2021 - Winger notches podium finish in King of the Hill 40
Ashton Winger was one of 29 Schaeffer’s Spring Nationals series entries on hand at Crossville Speedway (Crossville, Tenn.) on Friday afternoon for the $4,053 prize. In a field of 29 cars, Winger secured his spot into the opening night feature with the fourth fastest time in his group. 1The following night, Winger headed to Clayhill Speedway (Atwood, Tenn.) for the Southern All Star Series-sanctioned King of the Hill 40. Earning the fifth-starting position for the $4,000-to-win A-Main via preliminary events, Winger jumped up two spots to place third, trailing Payton Freeman and Dillon Tidmore to the checkers. Matthew Brocato and Dean Carpenter completed the Top-5 finishers in the 40-lap affair.
