April 23, 2021 - 11th-place finish with Spring Nationals at Tri-County
1On Friday night, Ashton Winger invaded Tri-County Racetrack (Brasstown, N.C.) for the Schaeffer’s Spring Nationals event. With time trials setting the grid for the $4,053-to-win A-Main, Winger posted the second fastest time in his group behind David Payne. Running into trouble near the halfway point of the feature, Ashton slowed on the track and headed into the infield pit area on lap 24. He was credited with an 11th-place finish.

Saturday night's Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series event at Travelers Rest Speedway (Travelers Rest, S.C.) fell victim to Mother Nature.

April 17, 2021 - Pair of Top-5 finishes with Lucas Oil MLRA at I-80 & Davenport
1 Tuesday night found Ashton Winger in action at I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Neb.) for the Tuesday Tickler. With 34 Lucas Oil Midwest LateModel Racing Association (MLRA) entries entered, Ashton secured his spot into the opening night feature with a third-place finish in his heat. With $5,000 on the line, Winger advanced through the field nine spots to place third, trailing Tony Jackson Jr. and Chase Junghans to the checkers with Mason Oberkramer and Billy Moyer rounding out the Top-5.

In a field of 31 MLRA competitors on Wednesday at Stuart Speedway (Stuart, Iowa), Winger grabbed the fourth and final transfer spot in his heat race, which positioned him 16th on the starting grid for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. On the quarter-mile oval on Thursday at Davenport Speedway (Davenport, Iowa), Ashton came in third in his heat, which positioned him fifth on the starting grid for the A-Main. Breaking into the Top-5, Winger marched forward six spots to finish fourth, following Billy Moyer, Jason Papich, and Brian Shirley across the line with Terry Phillips coming in fifth.

With the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) weekend opener on Friday getting axed by Mother Nature, Winger returned with the Lucas Oil MLRA at 34 Raceway (West Burlington, Iowa) to kick off the Slocum 50 weekend. Following a third-place finish in his heat, Ashton improved three spots in the feature to place seventh.

On Saturday night, Ashton fell short of a transfer position in his heat and B-Main, forcing him to rely on a provisional into the $10,053-to-win Slocum 50. Improving seven spots, Winger recorded an 18th-place outing.

April 9, 2021 - Winger detours to Lincoln Speedway after weekend rainout
With Mother Nature wiping out his weekend plans at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.), Ashton Winger headed north to Lincoln Speedway (Lincoln, Ill.) on Friday afternoon for the rescheduled Fall Nationals from 2020. April 3, 2021 - Top-5 finish with Comp Cams at Poplar Bluff
Ashton Winger kicked off the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) doubleheader weekend on Friday night at Poplar Bluff Motorsports Park (Poplar Bluff, Mo.) piloting his Johnny Doan Plumbing No. 12 Late Model. Following a sixth-place finish in his heat race, Winger edged his way into the opening night feature with the fourth and final transfer spot in his B-Main. With $3,000 on the line, Ashton marched through the field 15 spots in the 30-lapper to register a fifth-place finish. 1On Saturday evening at Legit Speedway Park (West Plains, Mo.), Ashton followed up the fourth fastest time in his qualifying group with a runner-up finish in his heat behind Brian Rickman. Starting the $3,000-to-win A-Main in seventh, Winger clawed forward one spot in the 40-lap affair to place sixth.
