October 24, 2020 - Blown motor cuts short Winger's Fall Classic at Whynot
1On Friday afternoon Ashton Winger visited Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Miss.) to take part in the two-day Coors Light Fall Classic. Drawing 43 Late Models, Winger suffered a blown motor during his time trial session that brought his weekend to an abrupt ending.

October 17, 2020 - Ashton Winger scores fourth place finish in SAS opener at Smoky Mountain
Friday night saw Ashton Winger return to action at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.) behind the wheel of the Johnny Doan Plumbing No. 12 Late Model for the Southern All Star Series doubleheader. With 34 cars on hand for the King of the Mountain Championship, Ashton secured his spot into the opening night feature with the second fastest time in his qualifying group behind Ricky Weiss. With $3,000 on the line, Winger faded one spot in the 30-lap affair to finish fourth behind Dale McDowell, Ricky Weiss, and Sam Seawright with Tommy Kerr coming in fifth. (Michael Moats photo)

1On Saturday evening, Winger timed in third fastest in his time trial group before picking up an 8-lap heat race victory. Starting on the pole for the $7,000-to-win finale, Ashton surrendered the top spot to Dale McDowell early in the race but reeled in the leader near the halfway point. Attempting to throw a slider on McDowell after a restart, Winger made hard contact with the wall that forced him pitside for the remainder of the evening on lap 24.

October 3, 2020 - 11th place finish with World of Outlaws at 411 Motor Speedway
1Ashton Winger was one of 39 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series entries on hand at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.) on Friday night for the Mike Duvall Memorial. Following an eighth place finish in his heat race, Winger logged a 10th place outing in his B-Main, forcing him to rely on a provisional into the opening night feature. With $10,000 on the line, Ashton jumped up four spots in the 50-lapper to place 19th.

The following night at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.), Ashton edged his way into the $10,000-to-win finale with the fourth and final transfer spot in his heat. Rolling off 16th, Winger jumped up five spots to register an 11th place outing. (Michael Moats photo)
