May 30, 2020 - Ashton Winger Follows World of Outlaws to Hawkeye State
On Friday night Ashton Winger followed the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series to Davenport Speedway (Davenport, Iowa) for the doubleheader at the facility that features a quarter-mile oval inside of the half-mile oval. Drawing 38 cars, Winger came in seventh in his heat before placing fifth in his B-Main. 1The following night on the half-mile, Ashton laid down the sixth fastest time in his group before picking up an 8-lap heat race victory. Earning the second-starting position for the $10,000-to-win A-Main via the redraw, Winger brought out a caution on lap 22 while running in seventh. Dropping outside the Top-10 in the remaining distance, Ashton Winger logged an 18th place outing.

May 23, 2020 - Winger Rallies to Ninth Place Finish in Drydene Double Down Opener
1Back behind the wheel of the Franklin Enterprises No. 12 Late Model, Ashton Winger made the trek to Jackson Motorplex (Jackson, Mn.) on Friday evening returning with the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series for the Drydene Double Down Invitational. In a field of 26 cars, Winger secured his spot into the $6,000-to-win opening night feature with a fourth place finish in his heat. After contact with another competitor early in the race sent him to the tail, Winger charged up to a ninth place finish in the remaining distance.

For the second round of the Drydene Double Down Invitational on Saturday, Ashton followed up the fastest lap in his time trial group with a second place finish in his heat behind Justin Zeitner. With $20,000 on the line in the feature, Winger ran in the Top-10 the majority of the race until a caution on lap 41 dropped him back to 15th.

May 15, 2020 - Top 5 Finish in Magnolia Mayhem 40 at Magnolia
1Tuesday night saw Ashton Winger return behind the wheel of his (virtual) Late Model at the (virtual) Dirt Track at Charlotte (Concord, N.C.) for the third and final round of the eDirt Racing Shootout. Earning the 11th-starting position for the $1,000-to-win A-Main via preliminary events, Ashton improved four spots in the 35-lapper to place seventh.

After Mother Nature shifted the event back a day, Winger headed to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) on Friday night for the Magnolia Mayhem 40. Following the seventh fastest time in his qualifying group, Ashton secured his spot into the main event with third place finish in his heat. With $5,000 on the line, Ashton Winger gained five spots in the 40-lap affair to place fourth behind Jimmy Owens, Timothy Culp, and Dennis Erb Jr. with Rusty Schlenk coming in fifth. May 7, 2020 - Runner-up Finish in iRacing Invitational at Volusia
1 After taking part in real-life racing over the weekend, Ashton Winger returned behind the wheel of his virtual Late Model on Monday evening at the (virtual) Volusia (FL) Speedway Park for the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model iRacing Invitational. With the event leading up to the eDirt Racing Shootout on CBS Sports Network on Tuesday, Winger fell one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a fourth place finish. Streaking to a 12-lap consolation victory, Ashton locked into the 13th-starting spot for the main event. Wheeling his way into a podium spot, Ashton Winger gained 11 positions to place 2nd behind Corey Gordon with Nick Stroupe, Kaeden Cornell, and Eric Riggins rounding out the Top-5.

For the $1,000-to-win eDirt Racing Shootout on Tuesday, Ashton dropped two spots in the 35-lap feature to register a seventh place finish.

On Thursday night, Winger headed to Senoia (GA) Raceway competing in a field of 43 cars for the DirtonDirt.com Shootout.
