June 27, 2020 - Top 10 finish in Firecracker 100 at Lernerville Speedway
1Thursday night found Ashton Winger in action at Lernerville Speedway (Sarver, Pa.) competing in a stout field of 48 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series entries for the 14th annual Firecracker 100 weekend. Coming in third in his heat race, Ashton locked into the 15th-starting position for the $6,000-to-win preliminary feature. Passing eight cars in the 25-lap affair, Winger reeled in a seventh place finish.

On Friday evening for another $6,000-to-win preliminary feature, Winger followed up a 10th place finish in his heat with a fifth place finish in his B-Main. Relying on a provisional into the A-Main, Ashton gained seven spots in the 25-lapper to register a 16th place outing.

June 20, 2020 - Winger claws forward to Top 5 Finish at Volunteer Speedway
Ashton Winger traveled to Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) on Friday night to kick off the doubleheader with the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series. Drawing 33 cars, Winger edged his way into the opening night feature with the fourth and final transfer spot in his heat. 1The following night for another $10,000-to-win A-Main, Ashton time in ninth fastest in his group before placing third in his heat. Starting the feature in 10th, Winger gained four spots in the 50-lapper to notch a sixth place finish.

June 13, 2020 - Winger Dominates Duals in Dixie Finale at Deep South Speedway
1A dominate performance on Saturday night at Deep South Speedway in Loxley, Ala. yielded 20-year-old Ashton Winger his first victory of the season.

Winger drove his Johnny Doan Plumbing No. 12 E-Z-GO/ Franklin Enterprises/ Keyser Manufacturing/ Rocket Chassis/ Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model to a $5,000 payday in the Southern All-Star Series Duels in Dixie finale.

“It feels like a big relief,” said Winger. “I feel like we’ve been fast all year and it doesn’t even feel like it’s June. I’ve been doing some really silly stuff behind the wheel and tonight I guess I didn’t. Tonight, everything clicked. I hope this momentum continues on to next week [in World of Outlaws events].”

Ashton came in third fastest in his group, which positioned him sixth on the starting grid for the main event. Overtaking Josh Putnam for the lead on the fourth lap following a restart, Winger went unchallenged in the remaining distance of the 50-lapper to capture his third career SAS victory. June 6, 2020 - Winger Invited to Dirt Late Model Stream at Eldora Speedway
1With the 26th annual Dirt Late Model Dream getting postponed to 2021, Ashton Winger was one of 48 Late Models invited to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Thursday afternoon for the Dirt Late Model Stream Invitational. Locking the Top 4 finishers from the heats into the preliminary feature, Winger followed up the 22nd fastest time overall in qualifying with a seventh place finish in his heat. Needing a third place finish or better in his B-Main to make the A-Main, Ashton logged a seventh place outing.

Sitting 29th overall in preliminary points on Saturday afternoon, Winger rolled off eighth in his heat race for a shot at the $50,000-to-win Dirt Late Model Stream Invitational. Sending the Top 4 into the show, Ashton logged a ninth place finish, transferring him into the B-Main. Locking the Top 3 into the finale, Winger fell short with a 10th place outing.
