 Ashton Winger returned with the Schaeffer’s Fall Nationals on Friday night at Tri-County Racetrack (Brasstown, North Carolina) for the Tar Heel 50. After missing time trials and not starting his heat race, Winger gained three spots in the 53-lap feature to place 18th.
 The following night at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama) for the Southern All Star Series sanctioned B.J. Parker Memorial, Ashton posted a 5th place finish in the feature, trailing Jason Hiett, Jackson Hale, Dillon Tidmore, and Jadon Frame across the line.
Sunday’s Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned-Rome Showdown at Rome Speedway (Rome, Georgia) fell victim to Mother Nature.
